Sakeenah means the calm and tranquillity that Allah places in the heart. We named this place after it because we believe that sound knowledge brings peace: knowing your Lord, His Book and His Messenger ﷺ.
Sakeenah is a free, ad-free home for Islamic learning. It offers daily Qur'an lessons, explained hadith, the stories of the prophets and companions, duas, history and reflections on creation. It is written for Muslims who want to grow, and for anyone who simply wants to understand.
How we work
- Qur'anic text always comes from the standard Uthmani text, never retyped by hand.
- Hadith come from the recognised collections, with their gradings shown.
- Some commentary is drafted with the help of AI tools, and every piece is checked by a person before it is published.
- We welcome corrections. If you spot a mistake, please tell us.
