Sakeenah began as a written platform — Quran lessons, Hadith, stories of the Prophets and the Sahaba, and Islamic history. But there's so much we can't yet do justice to in text alone: the founder's own story, short explainer videos for complex topics, recitation tutorials, and behind-the-scenes glimpses of how this platform is built and why.
Right now, we don't have proper video recording equipment — no dedicated camera, no microphone, no lighting. Every video we've made so far has been recorded on a phone in whatever light was available, and it shows.
Your donation toward this cause will go directly toward a basic but capable video kit: a camera suited for talking-head and lesson-style content, a quality microphone so the words are heard clearly, and proper lighting so viewers can actually see what's being taught. With this in place, we can start producing video content consistently — Quran recitation guidance, short reminders, platform updates, and eventually full video lessons alongside the written ones.
Every contribution, no matter the size, moves us closer to being able to teach in a way that reaches people who learn better by watching and listening than by reading. Jazakum Allahu khairan for considering this.
