Musnad of al-Fadl bin 'Abbas & narrating from the Prophet
It was narrated that al-Fadl bin ‘Abbas said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “The prayer is offered two [rak"ahs] by two, saying the tashahhud between each two rak"ahs, beseeching Allah, showing humility and expressing your need of Him. Then raise your hands - he said: and raise them to your Lord turning the palms of your hands towards your face and say, "O Lord, O Lord.’ Whoever does not do that -" and he said stern words concerning him.
