Limits and Punishments set by Allah (Hudood)
“Cut off the hand of the thief, male or female…”
حَدَّثَنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ مَيْسَرَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ، عَنْ يَحْيَى، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الأَنْصَارِيِّ، عَنْ عَمْرَةَ بِنْتِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، حَدَّثَتْهُ أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ ـ رضى الله عنها ـ حَدَّثَتْهُمْ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ يُقْطَعُ فِي رُبُعِ دِينَارٍ .
Narrated `Aisha: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "The hand should be cut off for stealing a quarter of a Dinar."
