The Book of Prayer
عَنْ أَبِي عَامِرٍ اَلْأَشْعَرِيِّ - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -{ لَيَكُونَنَّ مِنْ أُمَّتِي أَقْوَامٌ يَسْتَحِلُّونَ اَلْحِرَ [1] وَالْحَرِيرَ } رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ، وَأَصْلُهُ فِي اَلْبُخَارِيِّ [2] .
Narrated Abu 'Aamir al-Ash'ari: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: "There will be among my followers some people who will consider dultery (al-Hir) and the use of silk (al-Harir) lawful." [Reported by Abu Dawud, and its basic meaning is in al-Bukhari].
