The Book of Prayer
وَعَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى - رضى الله عنه - أَنَّ رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -قَالَ: { أُحِلَّ اَلذَّهَبُ وَالْحَرِيرُ لِإِنَاثِ أُمَّتِي, وَحُرِّمَ عَلَى ذُكُورِهِمْ. } [1] . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ, وَالنَّسَائِيُّ, وَاَلتِّرْمِذِيُّ وَصَحَّحَهُ [2] .
Narrated Abu Musa (RA): Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: "Gold and silk are lawful for the females among my followers, but prohibited to the males". [Reported by Ahmad, an-Nasa'i and at-Tirmidhi, who graded it Sahih (authentic)].
