Muwatta Malik 1226

Divorce

Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi that Abdullah ibn Umar divorced one of his wives in the house of Hafsa, the wife of the Prophet, (ﷺ), while he was on the way to the mosque. He went another route from behind the houses being averse to ask permission to enter until he returned to her.
