Sahih Muslim 1069 b

The Book of Zakat

Zakat is forbidden for the messenger of Allah ﷺ and his family, and they are Banu Hashim and Banu Al-Muttalib, and no one else

This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Shu'ba with the same chain of transmitters (and the words of the Prophet) are: " Sadaqa is not permissible for us."
