Musnad Ahmad 1590

It was narrated from Mus"ab bin Sa"d, from his father, that a platter of thareed was brought to the Prophet (ﷺ) and he ate, and there was some left over. He said: "A man will come from this direction who is one of the people of Paradise, and he will eat these leftovers." Sa"d said: I had left my brother "Umair bin Abi Waqqas getting ready to come to the Prophet (ﷺ) and I hoped that he would be the one. Then "Abdullah bin Salam came and ate it.
