Musnad of 'Abdullah bin al-'Abbas bin 'Abdul-Muttalib from the Prophet
It was narrated from ’Ikrimah that ’Umar used to say concerning declaring one"s wife to be haram: It is an oath for which expiation must be offered. Hisham said: Yahya wrote to me, narrating from Ya"la bin Hakeem, from Sa"eed bin Jubair, that Ibn "Abbas used to say concerning declaring one"s wife to be haram: It is an oath for which expiation must be offered. And Ibn "Abbas said: "Indeed in the Messenger of Allah (Muhammad (ﷺ)) you have a good example to follow for him" (al-Ahzab 33:21).
