Musnad Ahmad 2612

It was narrated from Ibn Hubairah that Maimoon al-Makki told him that He saw ‘Abdullah bin az-Zubair leading them in prayer, making a motion with his hands when he stood up, when he bowed, when he prostrated, and when he got up again, he stood up and made a motion with his hands. He said: I went to Ibn 'Abbas and said: I saw Ibn az-Zubair praying in a way that I have never seen anyone pray - and I described to him this motion. He said: If you want to see the prayer of the Prophet (ﷺ) then follow the example of the prayer of Ibn az-Zubair.
