Musnad of 'Abdullah bin al-'Abbas bin 'Abdul-Muttalib from the Prophet
It was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbas (رضي الله عنه) said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) came to us on the night of Muzdalifah, and we were young boys of Banu ‘Abdul-Mutallib, on our donkeys. He started slapping our thighs and said, “O my sons, do not stone the Jamrah until the sun rises.” And Ibn ‘Abbas (رضي الله عنه) said: I do not think anyone would stone the Jamrah until the sun rises.
