Musnad of Abdullah bin Mas'ood
It was narrated that Muslim bin Subaih said: I was with Masrooq in a house in which there was a statue of Mary. Masrooq said: Is this a statue of Chosroes? I said: No, it is a statue of Mary. Masrooq said: I heard 'Abdullah bin Mas'ood say: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “The most severely punished of the people on the Day of Resurrection will be the image makers."
