Prophetic Commentary on the Qur'an (Tafseer of the Prophet (pbuh))
The Statement of Allah the Exalted: "Verily! Those who brought forth the slander (against 'Aishah [May Allah be pleased with her] the wife of the Prophet (ﷺ) ﷺ) are a group among you." (V.24:11)
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ـ رضى الله عنها – {وَالَّذِي تَوَلَّى كِبْرَهُ} قَالَتْ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أُبَىٍّ ابْنُ سَلُولَ.
Narrated `Aisha: And as for him among them who had the greater share..' (24:11) was `Abdullah bin Ubai bin Salul.
