Narrated Anas bin Malik (rad): Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) was asked about making vinegar out of wine. He said, “No (it is prohibited)”. [Reported by Muslim, and At-Tirmidhi and the latter graded it Hasan-Sahih (fair and sound)].
