A’ishah (RAA) narrated, ‘I once asked the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) ‘O Messenger of Allah! Is Jihad incumbent upon women? He replied, “Yes. They have to take part in Jihad in which no fighting takes place, which is: Hajj and 'Umrah." Related by Ahmad and Ibn Majah and the wording is his. It is reported with a sound chain of narrators.
