The Chapters on Jihad
The virtue of guarding the frontiers and saying the Takbir in the cause of Allah
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ لِرَجُلٍ أُوصِيكَ بِتَقْوَى اللَّهِ وَالتَّكْبِيرِ عَلَى كُلِّ شَرَفٍ .
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said to a man: “I advise you to fear Allah and to say the Takbir (Allahu Akbar) in every high place.”
