Muwatta Malik 431

The Two 'Ids

Yahya related to me from Malik that he had heard more than one of their men of knowledge say, "There has been no call to prayer or iqama for the id al-Fitr or the id al-Adha since the time of the Messenger of Allah, (ﷺ)." Malik said, "That is the sunna about which there is no disagreement among us."
