The Book of Marriage

The Amount Of Breast-feeding That Makes Marriage Prohibited

It was narrated from Umm Fadl that the Prophet (ﷺ) of Allah was asked about breast-feeding and said: "Suckling (Al-Imlajah) once or twice does not make (marriage) prohibited." And (one of the narrators) Qatadah said (in his narration): "Suckling (Al-Massah) once or twice does not make (marriage) prohibited."
