Consummating The Marriage In Shawwal
أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا وَكِيعٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ تَزَوَّجَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي شَوَّالٍ وَأُدْخِلْتُ عَلَيْهِ فِي شَوَّالٍ فَأَىُّ نِسَائِهِ كَانَ أَحْظَى عِنْدَهُ مِنِّي .
It was narrated that 'Aishah said: "The Prophet (ﷺ) married me in Shawwal, and he consummated the marriage with me in Shawwal, and which of his wives find more favor with him than me?"
