The Book of Adornment
Letting the End of the Turban Hang Between the Shoulders
It was narrated from Ja'far bin 'Amr bin Umayyah that his father said: "It is as if I am looking now at the Messenger of Allah [ﷺ] on the Minbar, wearing a black turban, the end of which he has let hang down between his shoulders."
