Sakeenah has two kinds of hadith pages:
- Explained hadith — chosen by our team, each with the Arabic, a careful translation, context and practical lessons.
- The hadith library — more than 50,000 narrations from Sahih al-Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, the four Sunan, Muwatta Malik, Riyad as-Salihin, al-Adab al-Mufrad, Nawawi's Forty and more, in Arabic and English.
What do the gradings mean?
- Sahih (authentic) — the chain of narrators is connected and reliable.
- Hasan (good) — acceptable, with a slightly lesser level of precision.
- Da'if (weak) — there is a weakness in the chain; not used to establish rulings.
Gradings shown are those of the named scholars. Where scholars differ, more than one grading may apply. Text and gradings come from sunnah.com via the open "hadith" dataset.
