Musnad Ahmad 1649

It was narrated that Abu Salamah said: Marwan said to us: Go out and reconcile between these two: Sa"eed bin Zaid and Arwa bint Uwais. We came to Sa’eed bin Zaid and he said: Do you think I have taken any of her rights? I bear witness that I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: “Whoever takes a handspan of land unlawfully, his neck will be encircled with it down through seven earths. Whoever takes anybody as a mawla without the permission (of those who manumitted him), may the curse of Allah be upon him. And whoever seizes the wealth of his brother by means of his oath, may Allah not bless it for him.”
