Sahih al-Bukhari 3118
One-fifth of Booty to the Cause of Allah (Khumus)
The Statement of Allah Taa'la: "Verily one-fifth of it is assigned to Allah and to the Messenger ﷺ ..."
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الأَسْوَدِ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عَيَّاشٍ ـ وَاسْمُهُ نُعْمَانُ ـ عَنْ خَوْلَةَ الأَنْصَارِيَّةِ ـ رضى الله عنها ـ قَالَتْ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ إِنَّ رِجَالاً يَتَخَوَّضُونَ فِي مَالِ اللَّهِ بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّ، فَلَهُمُ النَّارُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ .
Narrated Khaula Al-Ansariya: I heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) saying, "Some people spend Allah's Wealth (i.e. Muslim's wealth) in an unjust manner; such people will be put in the (Hell) Fire on the Day of Resurrection."
