مُوَطَّأُ مَالِكٍ
Muwatta Malik 21
The Times of Prayer
حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ الَّذِي تَفُوتُهُ صَلاَةُ الْعَصْرِ كَأَنَّمَا وُتِرَ أَهْلَهُ وَمَالَهُ .
Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi from Abdullah ibn Umar that the Messenger of Allah, (ﷺ), said, "If someone misses the asr prayer it is as if he has suffered a great misfortune in his family and wealth ."
