Sahih Muslim 2627
The Book of Virtue, Enjoining Good Manners, and Joining of the Ties of Kinship
It Is Recommend To Intercede With Regard To That Which Is Not Unlawful
Abu Musa reported that when any needy (person) came to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) with a need he commanded him to his Companions, saying: Make a recommendation for him, and you would get the reward. Allah, however, gives the verdict through the tongue of His Messenger what He likes most.
