Sakeenah is a free, ad-free place to learn about Islam. Sakeenah (سَكِينَة) means the calm that Allah places in the heart, and that is what we hope you find here.
Everything is written for two kinds of reader at once: Muslims who want to grow, and anyone who is simply curious. Nothing on the site assumes you already know the Arabic words — we explain them as we go.

Finding your way around
On a phone, use the bar at the bottom of the screen: Home, Qur'an, Discover, Explore and your account. On a computer, the same sections are in the menu at the top. The search icon searches the whole site — try a word, a name, or a verse reference such as 2:255.
You can read everything without an account. A free account lets you save what you read, keep your place and ask questions.
